Song Of Roland: Sneak Peek 1
December 3, 2009, filed under: Roland, by LexThe final edited pages of Kid Beowulf and the Song Of Roland are off to my publisher, ready to be laid out, proof-read once more, and shipped off to the printer. Galleys are making the rounds now but the book won’t be officially out until April, which is a long way off (once you finish a book you want it in reader’s hands right now). Looking over past blog-posts I noticed that I really didn’t post much about book 2 and since we’ve got some down-time, I figured now’s as good a time as any to give you guys a sneak peak. So for the next few weeks I’m going to try and post a few pages every week from Kid Beowulf and the Song of Roland. I’m going to choose sequences that (hopefully) won’t give too much of the story away. This will give you guys something to look at and give me something to do as I continue to research book 3 (which is all about dusty editions of epic poetry, crusty essays and musty history books). Some of you may recognize the opening sequence below from this original post, but here are the final pages (click to enlarge)…
If you like what you see, you can go to Amazon and pre-order the book!
